Bit of a slower day this one, but still got some exciting stuff to talk about.
Battling My Team Mates And Getting Pestered By The SBC

AZ gives Lida and Naveen Mega Rings so they're now able to Mega Evolve a Pokémon they own...or at least Lida would be able to if she bothered to evolve her Staryu. =P Because she hasn't yet, the Key Stone is useless to her.
Naveen however...

...gets to show off his brand new Mega Scrafty. As for what I think to it...eh, it's fine I guess. Making it look like some moody teen in a hoodie is pretty amusing I'll admit. XD Not my favourite new Mega we've got, but it's fine.
The two were a complete cakewalk with Naveen at least trying to put up a fight with his Mega Scrafty, and after that Team MZ settles down for a coffee break at the Noveau Cafe. I'll admit it was a little disappointing I didn't get to battle Urbain as well, but hey I'll get to battle him again later so no worries. However, a woman in a maid's uniform named Lebanne comes to us with a proposition: we've been invited to partake in a private tournament hosted by the Society of Battle Connoisseurs (or SBC for short).

I'm even made to battle a woman who runs a clothes shop just so I can get a fancy outfit for the occasion. Gotta say, looks pretty dapper on me, doesn't it? Weirdly enough, only I'm made to have a fancy outfit whereas everybody else in this tournament still gets to wear their usual clothes. I get it, GameFreak had to keep costs low by not having extra character models to animate and render, but it's just that in-universe, it really makes no sense y'know? I have to wear a fancy outfit but everybody else can dress in their casual clothes? Even Canari, WHO'S OUTFIT REVEALS HER STOMACH NEED I REMIND YOU?! I dunno if that's funny or stupid honestly. XD At least with Urbain, they somewhat justify his keeping his outfit for he reveals the coat he wears belongs to his mother...who has passed away and so it's a valuable keepsake for him. Aww, bless that kid. :(

The private tournament is hosted by this upper-class twit. Her name is Jacinthe and I hate her. Of all the new characters I've seen in this game, she's the only one I outright despise. It's a shame too because she has a pretty fabulous design. Too bad her behaviour is anything but fabulous...
Before the tournament can start, me and Urbain get a message warning that more Rouge Mega Pokémon have been spotted, so we bail out. This ends up being such an offence to Jacinthe that she outright stalks and pesters us all about taking part in her silly little tournament, even going so far as to show up uninvited to a Team MZ meeting and insist we come back to the tournament, DESPITE THE FACT THIS IS URGENT BUSINESS TO ATTEND TO AND THE SAFETY OF LUMIOSE CITY DEPENDS ON US TAKING DOWN THESE ROGUE MEGA POKEMON!!! She's here listening to us talking about how urgent this is and she doesn't give a Rattata's ass! She only cares that we come back to this stupid party of her's as if it's somehow more important than what we're doing! Go to the Distortion World you brain-dead moron! Maybe Giratina can teach you a thing or two about getting your priorities straight...
Anyhow, Rogue Megas to deal with...
More Rogue Mega Trouble

The three new mons I have to battle include Mega Froslass, Mega Altaria and Mega Venusaur. Of the three, I go for Froslass first since I really want her Mega Stone and be able to Mega Evolve my own Froslass. Mega Froslass looks beautiful. I love how she still has her elegant physique, albeit she's much taller now, has longer hair and still evokes the "mysterious woman in a kimono" vibe while also sprouting horns from her head to emphasize her Yokai inspired roots. This was a perfect Mega design for her and I love it.

For Mega Froslass, she wasn't too difficult. I never blacked out once when fighting her and my Mega Chandelure was more than enough to handle her. She was taken down and the Froslassite was mine. Yay, I can Mega Evolve my own Froslass now! :D Oh and not only did I not black out against Mega Froslass, I beat Mega Altaria and Venusaur also without blacking out, making this batch one of the few times I've beaten all three without blacking out once.

Mega Altaria was next and it was the perfect chance for me to try out Froslass's new Mega Evolution. Needless to say, Mega Froslass is the perfect weapon against Mega Altaria. I had Ice Beam and Draining Kiss for super-effective damage, Draining Kiss especially being useful as it allows my Mega Froslass to replenish her health and keep her in the fight. I'd probably say Mega Altaria might've been the least challenging Rogue Mega so far.

The Altarianite was mine after I defeated the Rogue Mega.

Finally, we had Mega Venusaur. This one was very unexpected since you'd think they'd shill Charizard or Blastoise and have their Mega Evolutions be a Rogue Mega, but no they picked Venusaur instead. Good I say, Venusaur needs some love. I like how they even foreshadowed this boss fight by having it so in the Stone Emporium, you can buy Charizard and Blastoise's Mega Stones, but NOT Venusaur's. Why? Because you win it by beating a Rogue Mega Venusaur. Too bad I won't get one until the post game...
This battle was the most varied for me as in this fight, I used three different Megas in order to beat it, those being Mega Hawlucha, Mega Chandelure and Mega Froslass. All three are super-effective against Venusaur, but it hits pretty hard and thus I had to swap out a few times. At least I wasn't just using one Mega to do all the work for a change.

It was a tough one, but Venusaur was defeated and its Mega Stone was mine.
Jacinthe Really Tests My Patience...

However, Jacinthe decides she hasn't had enough of being the most annoying little sh**t imaginable and projects her own Battle Zone around Hotel Z in order to force us into complying with her whims. We WERE actually going to go and get back into the tournament before she showed up and pulled off this malarkey, so this was unnecessary. Still, I get to flex against two of Jacinthe's flunkies and make short work of them. Lebanne challenges me last and as she reveals, her timid personality is all an act. She's actually pretty battle crazy and energetic. Her team consists only of Dragon types with Noivern, Tyrantrum, Garchomp and Dragalge. I have a Dragonite and a Froslass on my team, and my Froslass can Mega Evolve, so no duh I beat her ass easily!

But I must of course mention how Lebanne's Dragalge can Mega Evolve. I really like it myself. It builds on Dragalge's original design and amplifies some of its design traits to make it look more powerful. The flowing "hair" is especially fabulous to me. During my battle with her, my Mega Froslass actually froze her Meg Dragalge so it couldn't move, hence I was able to keep attacking it until it fainted. Gotta love it when things like that happen eh? XD
After that, we clear up to Lebanne that we WERE going back to that stupid party and this was all unnecessary, so she finally lets us go. She also reveals that she used to be a street punk until she lost a battle to Jacinthe and now Jacinthe makes her dress up as a maid and serve her faithfully. Oh lovely, so Lebanne's essentially a slave to Jacinthe. As if I couldn't hate her enough already...
This was where the day ended for me, so you'll have to wait until next time to see me teach Jacinthe a lesson for being such a pest. I assure you, it'll be worth it... ;)
As usual, here's some more Mega Photos to finish off the day:

Mega Falinks.

Mega Skarmory (It's absolute hell trying to catch one, but the Mega makes it worth it).

Mega Gallade.

Mega Scolipede.

Mega Sharpedo (still curious why they got rid of the spikes on the side of its snout).

Mega Froslass.

And finally, Mega Altaria.
Come back tomorrow when I face Jacinthe in order to get to Rank B, and hopefully teach her some manners for stalking and pestering me...

Mega Froslass looks amazing and def using her in my next run.
Good run on the three megas. I did so without blackout out too. I found their patterns more easy to get used to.
Jacinthe is a female Granbull and yes use that instead of a more common insult for a nasty female person. In my fanfic, Harmony is going to utterly kick her ass.
Loving Mega Frolass :) and go beat that idiot in the game
