The Media Man Plays: Pokémon Legends ZA (Day 6)

Title card

Let's continue with the next day as I battle more Rogue Megas!

Battling Rogue Mega Beedrill, Hawlucha and Banette

Mega Hawlucha

As mentioned in the previous part, those three were the next Rogue Megas to battles. Since I want a Mega Hawlucha, I obviously went for Hawlucha first so I could claim the Hawluchanite and Mega Evolving my own Hawlucha. Not to mention it'll give me the perfect time to take him for a test battle when I go for Beedrill next. ;)

Before I did those bosses, I went hunting for TMs, which was easier to do now the Roto-Glide feature was unlocked. Why this is a thing instead of riding on a flying Pokémon is beyond me, but hey, at least I can get to places I couldn't reach before. After that, it was time to get my Hawluchanite.

I battled the Mega Hawlucha using my Mega Eelektross since Hawlucha is weak to Electric-types and such a boss fight was the perfect time to test out Eelektross's new Mega. Mega Hawlucha did knock me out at least once but otherwise wasn't too challenging.

Hawluchanite

I was able to take it down and claim the Hawluchanite. Hooray, now I can Mega Evolve my Hawlucha!

Mega Beedrill

Next up was Mega Beedrill, which is one of my favourite Mega Evolutions out there. Seriously, who knew it was possible to make BEEDRILL of all Pokémon look supremely badass? And it's pretty terrifying as well. It's like a four armed wasp trying to impale me alive!

Mega Hawlucha vs. Mega Beedrill

This moment was of course the perfect time for me to Mega Evolve my Hawlucha. Funny how I just fought a Mega Hawlucha and now I'm here using one. XD Beedrill is weak to Flying types, so it was the right time to test Hawlucha's new Mega against it. Mega Beedrill can be a little tricky since it loves using Pin Missile and poisoning your Pokémon, so you got to stay on your toes. I was knocked out twice during this battle, but I was still able to win in the end.

Beedrillite

The Beedrill was taken down and I got myself another Mega Stone. :D

Finally, it was Mega Banette, a ghostly doll like Pokémon. While Banette is unremarkable, its Mega is pretty cool I'll say and this boss battle was the trickiest of all the Rogue Mega Pokémon so far. This thing uses Double Team and leaves after images of itself, which is why it's such a tricky battle. Half the time, you're trying to find which one's the real Banette and you're possibly stuck attacking the fake ones for a good chunk of the battle. For this one, I decided to use the Mega Greninja I'm able to use thanks to getting that Mega Stone on Day 3. Greninja is half Dark-type, which gives it an advantage over Mega Banette, hence why I used it. Even then, it was still tricky to handle because of those damn illusions. But in the end, I was able to win the battle.

Banettite

I claimed a Banettite as my reward afterwards. After that, it turns out Zygarde was watching me again and Lysandre shows up once more, taking note on how Zygarde's interested in me and that I need to use Mega Evolution to beat the Rogue Mega Evolutions. Humorously, he comments how Zygarde can't Mega Evolve. Why is that funny? Because later in the game, it turns out Zygarde CAN Mega Evolve. I can't wait to see Lysandre's face if he ever finds that out. XD

Not Much Else After That

Team MZ meeting

And...that was about it for today. I only did those Rouge Mega battles and at least one side mission where I had to battle someone and show off a Camerupt and Sableye Mega Evolving. Up next in the story, I need to battle Ivor in order to move up to Rank D. I don't have a Challenger's Ticket at the moment, so I have to go and get one. Hopefully by Day 7, I'll be able to move on...

The reason why this entry was so short was because on that day, I went out to get Jurassic World Evolution 3 for my PS5 as it just came out. In the future, I may do a post about my playthrough of that. But first, I gotta finish this game...

So to finish off this rather short entry, here's some more Mega Photos!

Shiny Mega Banette

And since I caught a shiny Shuppet back in Day 3, I naturally had to get a photo of shiny Mega Banette.

Hopefully Day 7 will have more to talk about, so see you then. ^^

Current roster: Same as yesterday, I've had no changes to my team.

Mega Hawlucha is def my fighting type for my next run. Picking Meganium as a starter so it doesn't overlap...but we also got the new Mega Scrafty and Mega Falinks...Damn this game has many cool new fighting megas.

I would never use a Beedrill even with its mega, but I have to admit Mega Beedrill looks badass.

That f***ing Mega Banette and its ability to replicate. Only know I know you have to attack the one Naveen is after. I wish I knew that before.

nice pictures with the Megas here. I myself recently collected all Mega Stones I can collect up to that point in the game, aside the Greninjite from the ranked battles which I'll do next
