Going Online To Grab A Greninjite

I took a quick break from the main game at first so I could do the online ranked battles and get a Greninjite. At the time I'm writing this post, it's a reward you can claim if you reach Rank K in the online ranked battles and the event runs until November the 5th. After that, there'll be another season and then we'll have to compete for a Delphoxite and then a third time for a Chesnaughtite. Why the Kalos starters were finally given Megas only for the Mega Stones required to Mega Evolve them were locked behind an online subscription paywall, I'll never understand. As is, it does make the experience feel more rewarding as a result. I mean what reward could be better than a freakin' Mega Stone, eh?

Oh and the best part? You can rank up even if you lose these battles. All you need to do is compete and keep scoring enough points to rank up and there you go. Talk about "even if you lose, you win" in this case. XD The first Ranked Battle I did, I came second, which was pretty awesome. Coming second on my first try is good going.

My best result was when me and two other players finished with a three-way-tie. Pity I never finished first in any of my ranked battles, but at least I never came last. There was at least one battle I did where one player didn't knock anyone's Pokémon out, which made me feel a little sorry for them. At least it wasn't me who ended up like that. XD If anyone wants to play online, just be warned, it's chaotic. VERY chaotic! So you better brace yourself for a lot of carnage...

Anyhow, getting up to Rank K proved to be a speedier process then expected and lo and behold, I got the Greninjite. Now if I wish, I can use Mega Greninja during the main gameplay. Now back to the main game...

Nothing Much Else

After that...I didn't really do much else. I got too carried away doing side missions, farming Mega Shards and catching and evolving Pokémon, so I didn't get any further on the story. But I did take some awesome Mega Pokémon pictures down below. Up above we have Mega Gyarados...

...and Mega Gengar. Of all the photos, I think Mega Gengar's might be my favourite because of how creepy and funny it looks, like my character's surprised to see it popping up like that. XD Another thank you goes to KivatheDCWizard for helping me evolve this one too. You're a real pal buddy!

Oh and before anyone asks, yes I did do the side mission where I get a shiny Mareep as reward. Much like how Legends Arceus gives you a free shiny Ponyta, I much appreciated this one. Free shinies are the best!

So yeah, sorry to give you more or less nothing else to talk about here, but at least the Online Ranked Battles were worth mentioning and I hope you enjoyed my Mega Evolution pics at least. Day 5 I'm sure will be more eventful...
