In the words of John Hammond:

Welcome! To Jurassic Park!
Or more accurately, welcome to Jurassic Kingdom. That's the name of the park I've built on the newest instalment in the Jurassic World: Evolution franchise. Yep, we now have a third game in the series, and you better believe I had to play it once it released. This was a game that boasted better graphics, better performance than the previous games, a wide roster of dinosaurs, improved terrain tools and brand new attractions and features to truly make your dream Jurassic Park.
Unlike my Pokémon: Legends ZA gaming journals, this post won't be a daily series of posts about me playing this game. Instead, it's just me talking about the park I've built on the game itself, complete with photos and everything. If you're someone who plays Jurassic World: Evolution or any of its sequels, feel free to take inspiration from my park as you build your own. I welcome it. ^^
As you can name your parks in this game, I've called my park "Jurassic Kingdom". I just think that sounds like an awesome name for a dinosaur park while keeping in tune with the Jurassic Park brand, y'know? It's a name that says this isn't just a theme park, it's a kingdom ruled by dinosaurs and you get to visit them all.
So without further ado, let's begin the tour:
Arrival Point, Main Street and Entertainment Facilities

This building in the centre of the park is where the guests arrive. Can't have arrivals with no arrival point of course. Unlike in previous games, Jurassic World: Evolution 3 has different models of buildings to choose from so you're not just using the same buildings over and over, which I VERY much approve of. This particular Arrival Point is the Europa Malta style of architecture and I decided since I was building on a Mediterranean island in sandbox mode, I'd go with the Europa theme for most of my buildings.

Let us begin the tour as I take you down the main street here. This is where most of the buildings of this park reside with some other buildings dotted around less populated areas of the park.

As you walk down the main street, you'll see restaurants, drinking places, shops, bathrooms and hotels.

This particular hotel design is my favourite the game has to offer. It just looks so good and very fancy and I'm happy to include it in my park.

We also have some entertainment facilities and things to make your stay at Jurassic Kingdom more comfortable and enjoyable. These include a spa...

...the Fossil Zone...

...a cinema...

...a rock climbing gym...

...and the Innovation Centre. This comes in two different models where you can use the one as it appears in the Jurassic World movie or this Asian inspired design. I used this one because I wanted my park to look more unique and not just a copy of the movie. Also, before anyone points out, in this game you have the option to build everything from scratch so you can make your own buildings and not just use pre-made models. I don't have the time or skill for modular buildings, so I prefer to use what's already available to me.
I DID however add that T-Rex statue for a bit of extra scenery. That was my own touch. It's also really hard to see in the picture, but I also added a Mr. DNA statue near the entrance to the centre. Believe me when I say this game has a lot of options for scenery and just whatever you want to add in. The best park building simulators to me are those with plenty of options, and this game excels in that department!

Oh and if you get tired and need a quick way to get around the park to rest your feet for a minute, you can take a ride on the monorail and ride all over Jurassic Kingdom. This track I built circles the entire park, so you'll see just about everything it has to offer.

And now for one of many different attractions in this park. This right here is my hot air balloon tour, which I've decided to call "Jurassic Heights". Real creative, I know. XD This was a VERY welcome addition to the Jurassic World: Evolution games. You see, the balloon tour was actually a feature way back in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis back in 2003. Why it took until the THIRD Jurassic World: Evolution game to bring this back, I have no idea! This should've been there since the first game! Ah well, better late than never. Now guests have more ways to enjoy seeing the dinosaurs now they can fly in hot air balloons and ride over the park. Oh and the fun part? The balloon has a Jurassic Park variant too, so you don't just have to have the balloon you see in the picture. I just chose this variant because most of my buildings are Jurassic World themed rather than Jurassic Park. As is, I was so happy to have this attraction back as it's a lovely bit of fan service for fans like me who have played Operation Genesis back in the day and an evolution for fans of the Evolution games who are getting to use this for the first time ever.
Now let's get to the dinosaurs. This IS what you're mainly here for after all...
Dinosaur Encounter Number 1

My first enclosure I built in this park. This is an enclosure where guests can feed and pet the dinosaurs that come to them, if they're small enough to fit the gap that is. This enclosure includes:

Ornithomimus (brand new dinosaur introduced for the first time in this game)...

And Gallimimus.

They share this enclosure together and live quite happily amongst each other. Ornithomimus I mostly included since it was a new species introduced in the game and I thought "It's new, so why not include it?". I picked Gallimimus because I felt it fit in well with Ornithomimus. Also Gallimimus is kind of iconic thanks to Jurassic Park, so I had to include it. This enclosure also includes one of two Gentle Giant Dinosaur Encounter attractions. This is also a brand new feature for the Evolution series as the previous two games didn't have petting zoos.

Here's a snapshot I got of a baby Ornithomimus being fed by a guest. Isn't that cute? ^^
Oh and yeah, dinosaurs can breed in this game, another big change from the previous two games as Evolution 1 and 2 didn't have breeding mechanics. With this and modular building, it's like Jurassic World: Evolution 3 is taking inspiration from Planet Zoo! Speaking of that game, I may do a park tour of my zoo I built on Planet Zoo in the future...
Velociraptor Pack

This enclosure contains my vicious and cunning Velociraptor pack. If you're building a park on a Jurassic Park/World game, you've GOT to have a Velociraptor pack, haven't you? Not including raptors here is like building a zoo without elephants, tigers, lions, giraffes or zebras, it's just not right.

And before you ask, yes I have the entire raptor squad from Jurassic World from Blue...

...Charlie...

...Delta...

...and Echo. I mean, why not have the whole squad? ;)

There's some more fan service in this raptor squad for I have at least two males who have the 1997 skin based on how the Velociraptors appeared in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the second movie in the franchise. I absolutely love this deco for the raptors. Makes them look a little tiger-like, wouldn't you agree? Also cool isn't it how this raptor squad has raptor skins from the Jurassic Park era and Jurassic World era of the franchise, eh?
Ankylosaurus Enclosure

This was my third enclosure I built in the game.

This one is home to a herd of Ankylosaurus. I have four in total, three adults and a baby. Ankylosaurus is one of my favourite herbivores, so of course I was going to include one in the park. It's just such an awesome dinosaur with its heavily armoured body, spiked head and tail club!
Dinosaur Encounter Number 2

Just like my first enclosure, this is another enclosure where guests can feed and pet the dinosaurs.

This enclosure contains a herd of Protoceratops, a brand new dinosaur introduced in this game that wasn't available in the previous two. This one is male...

...and this one is female.

Here's a pic I got of a guest feeing one of the Protoceratops. So wholesome, eh? ^^
Carnotaurus Pack

This enclosure contains four Carnotaurus, a dinosaur I've always had a soft spot for ever since watching Disney's Dinosaur (very underrated movie by the way). I always love having these guys in my dinosaur parks. What's not to like about Carnotaurus? They're carnivorous dinosaurs with bull-like horns. That's awesome. :D

The pack consists of two males...

...and two females. I like how the game makes it so there are differences between males and female like this. The males have bigger horns than the females, as is the case with modern animals like bulls and rhinos. For some dinosaurs, the differences between male and female are more noticeable while some like the raptors are much harder to tell apart.
Oh and fun fact, the male Carnotaurus has a skin that makes it look like Toro from the Netflix Camp Cretaceous series. Yep, this game even has Camp Cretaceous fan service. Gotta love it when all sides of the franchise get some rep, eh?
Cretaceous Cruise

Now for, in my opinion, my best enclosures and the star attraction of my park: the Cretaceous Cruise. This was a brand new attraction that wasn't available in the previous games, but it IS featured in the Jurassic World movie. You see it quite briefly where some guests are paddling along a jungle river with some ankylosaurus nearby. Building this cruise also gave me a chance to play with the terrain tools in this game and really make a truly fantastic, natural looking attraction. Unlike in previous games, you can actually make enclosures with little fencing to make them look more natural. Cool, isn't it? Now let's get ourselves a kayak and take a paddle, shall we? Just don't fall into the water please...

The fun part about making the Cretaceous cruise was not only deciding what dinosaurs to include, but also adding some dynamic scenery to it like this rock archway you see in the picture. Rocky archways add so much more to these cruises, let me tell you. I also added a waterfall to make the cruise look even more naturalistic and beautiful. You couldn't do this in the previous games, so this was a lot of fun to play with.

The cruise lets guests paddle through a herd of Parasaurolophus...

...Apatasaurus...

...Ankylodocus (a hybrid dinosaur exclusive to the games)...

...Stegosaurus (females on top and males on bottom)...

...and also lets you paddle by a Giganotosaurus enclosure.

Here's a closer look at one. As any Jurassic Park fans will tell you, the design here is lifted directly from its appearance in Jurassic World: Dominion. Originally, the Dominion design was DLC exclusive, but this game has it included right from the get-go and you can use it right away, no DLC required. As someone who loves the Giganotosaurus's appearance from Dominion, I'm naturally happy I don't have to pay for this one again.
OK, are we all in one piece? Nobody fell off the kayak? Awesome! You're all here! We didn't lose anybody on the cruise. Now let's visit...
Spinosaurus Pool

My favourite dinosaur of all time, so I of course had to include some in the park. This enclosure really let me play about with the terrain tools as I not only made a mostly fenceless enclosure, but I also put in a waterfall, rose the terrain in places and I put in a huge pool of water.

Here's one of three Spinosaurus I have, two adults and one baby. This red one is female...

...and that's the male. The male Spinosaurus I have has a colour scheme based on its appearance in Jurassic Park III. As you can see, they love wandering through the water. But they don't just walk in it...

...they can swim in it too! Another new feature for this game is some species of dinosaurs can swim in deep water, something the original two games didn't have. Off the top of my head, I think dinosaurs that can swim in this game include the Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, Spinoraptor, Baryonyx, Dimetrodon and Pyroraptor. Six swimming species may not seem a lot, but it's still cool that this game makes it a feature. It makes building Spinsoaurus enclosures more fun than ever now I can build a pool for them to swim in. Oh and before you ask, sauropods can wade through deep water if you put some in their enclosure.
Now let's move on to...
T-Rex Canyon

As if I wasn't going to include the Tyrannosaurus Rex. XD No dinosaur park should ever be without a T-Rex.

And here they are! I have two as you can see, one male and one female. The T-Rex comes with skins that depict them as they appear in various movies throughout the franchise. This one in particular has a skin that depicts the T-Rex as it appears in Jurassic Park III. Fitting considering I have the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III next door to it. XD
Now let's have a look at my next big attraction...
Jurassic Jeep Tour

The Cretaceous Cruise isn't the only way to get up close and ride with dinosaurs. The Jeep Tour also lets you do so! The Jeep Tour has been a staple of Jurassic Park building games since Operation Genesis and I'm always happy to build one in my parks.

In this game, the jeep tour has two variants. You can have the touring trucks from Jurassic World or the classic Jurassic Park jeeps that you see here. Despite my park going for a Jurassic World theme, I wanted the Jurassic Park jeeps because they're so iconic and look way more interesting than the boring trucks from Jurassic World. Keep your doors locked at all times as the jeeps are on tour and do NOT leave the vehicle until it's over. OK? Let's go...
This tour includes:

Iguanodon (Male above and female below)...

...Patagotitan, another brand new dinosaur introduced in this game (the brown ones are female and the green ones are male)...

...Triceratops (gotta have the classics)...

...Brachiosaurus (the bottom one has a skin based on its appearance in Jurassic Park III)...

...Styracosaurus...

...an aviary containing Quetzalcoatlus, Pteranodon, Dimorphodon and Cauiajara...

...Lokiceratops (another new addition to the games) and Edmontosaurus...

...and Sinoceratops.
And that's the end of the Jeep Tour. You all in one piece? Excellent! Let's continue...
Mosasaurus Lagoon

Gotta have one of these, haven't I? Jurassic World has made the Mosasaurus as big an icon as its versions of the T-Rex and Velociraptor after all. As you can see, I put a zipline ride over the lagoon so people can ride over the lagoon. Just gotta hope nobody falls in the water, eh? XD

I have three Mosasaurus in this lagoon, two males and one female. This is a male one...

...and this is a female. And yes, just like in the movie, you can feed them sharks and they'll jump up for it. It's so fun pausing the game at the right moment so I can photograph them like this.

And here's their baby. The baby Mosasaurus is precious and I'll protect it with my life! Probably my favourite juvenile you can get in the game. Seriously, how does this thing of all creatures look so cute as a baby?
Allosaurus Valley

While not the end of the tour yet, this was the last enclosure I built on the game. As you no doubt saw already, this enclosure contains...

...a pack of three Allosaurus, one male and two females. The red ones are female and the black one is male. I really do think red just suits this dinosaur so well. Allosaurus, I like to describe it as the Tyrannosaurus of the Jurassic Period. Allosaurus existed years before the T-Rex did and was the top predator of its time. One has to wonder how a fight between T-Rex and Allosaurus would go...
Indominus Rex Encounter

And finally, we conclude our tour with the most sinister dinosaur of them all...

...the Indominus Rex. Unlike in the movie, this one isn't getting out that easily and is quite safely secure. When building a park on this game, you just gotta have an Indominus Rex, haven't you? I love how the game depicts it as being able to camouflage whenever it goes into a forest area, that's so cool and so true to the movie.
Conclusion

And that's the end of the tour! Did you all have a good time? Would you like to come back and see the park again? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I may build another park on this game in the future, but with dinosaurs I haven't included in this park, so keep an eye out. Until then, see you later media fans!

Wow, you haven’t been sleeping on dinos from the movies and especially the new ones. Very cool bro!
Well this looks lovely. I know little of dinosaurs beyond the T-Rex, the Longnecks, the Triceraptops, and the Ankylosaurus, so it was nice to see others here including that somewhat lovely looking Protoceratops and the Indominus Rex here, well done you.
