Freddy: Didn’t wait long did he?

Teddy: Well now that Season 3 is done with he can make a start on it.

Freddy: I wonder if we should let everybody know now this isn’t a hate piece?

Teddy: They should know it’s not, they only got to look at his thoughts on MAWS. He doesn’t hate it. He doesn’t love it either.

Freddy: Ugh you know what people are like on the internet, they don’t bother reading past the first few words.

Teddy: I hope they read this because they should at least just think about the things this series could’ve improved on.

If only, but I guess I should make that clear first.

I’m the Wandering Fox, that’s right, but I want to make myself very clear. I don’t hate My Adventures with Superman. If you really want my thoughts on it then check out the link. But to make it short, I don’t hate the series, I don’t love it, I’m in the middle with it. I like some parts of the series but there’s others I don’t like. It’s annoying because I don’t like it if a series or character I really like is not tapping into its absolute full riches to give a fresher but still nostalgic take on Superman. I love the character and his universe and I wish it was better done here. It’s why I decided I’d try to offer a rewrite of the series, to try and do right by a few characters and stories who were held back either by In Name Only takes or really bad story choices.

As I went over in my thoughts, I said I’d do a rewrite of the series and I want to make it clear that while it does rewrite a chunk of it, it doesn’t get rid of everything they got in there. Which is why I’m going to explain right now what is gonna be kept.

Staying

I’m going to be nice and keep Lois and Jimmy as they are. Albeit I’d maybe mature Jimmy a little more as a character as the series goes on.

I’ll keep the overall Supergirl story the same in that she’s first brainwashed but overcomes it and is a sweet fish out of water character.

I’ll keep the Superman as a loner story they were doing because I liked how they did it.

Sam Lane is still here.

Hank and Lex will be the same.

I’ll bring Jon in, but he’ll look more like Jon as he should be.

Krypton as an empire will be kept.

So those are what I’m keeping.

Gone

The villains that are utterly evil in other DC works like Brain, Mallah and Queen Bee are gone. I’m sorry but those characters are incredibly evil and they can be replaced just fine with other characters that are more sympathetic.

The multiverse is gone. That has been done to death and it once again teased an evil Superman. Get out of here with that, I’m fed up with seeing it. That means Mr Myxzplkt is gone.

The drama that dragged on with Lois is gone.

The villains that are In Name Only are rewritten to be more like they’re meant to be.

Brainiac, Giganta, Dr Ivo and Deathstroke are gone, same with Waller cos I’m fed up with that character being the evil government character when you got Elias right there. Brainiac is gonna be replaced by a character that better works. Toyman will get his moment in the limelight.

No songs.

Kyle McDougal is gone, replaced with Bevan.

Jimmy’s date weirdness is gone.

The technological enemies are greatly scaled back, so characters like Livewire, Silver Banshee, they get to keep their metahuman powers without needing technology to help them. It works for characters like Toyman and Hank.

There’s no battle with Krull that Jon ends peacefully because that opens up big plot holes and is way too fast for a episode.

As you know my main issue with My Adventures with Superman is how out handled his villains. The majority we see in the series are just not really them, like Brainiac or Silver Banshee. I mean you even have characters replacing those who would better suit the bill like Bloodsport could easily replace Deathstroke because not only is he a Superman villain but he’s also a mercenary, or how more cybernetic villains could easily have taken Dr Ivo’s place like Roderick Rose. If the series really wanted to use more obscure characters go look them up, there’s plenty there. But since this is a rewrite this is where a lot of big changes come in.

The Villains Rewritten

This covers those that are not really their characters. I’m going to be truer to them but still give them a twist that at least stays true to the series.

I had argued about her enough and so I will start with Silver Banshee/Siobhan McDougal.

Keeping in line with her comic counterpart, Siobhan comes from a small island community between Ireland and Scotland and got bound to a vengeful spirit by the Crone. What is different here is that instead of her and Bevan being part of a clan they were visiting their uncle’s estate and found an object that contained the spirit. Siobhan had to be trapped within the object and the only way to restore her is to go to the museum in Metropolis where her uncle sold the book that contained the magic spell, thus Bevan goes to Metropolis to free her. Unfortunately during a fight between Superman and Bloodsport Bevan dropped the object and the Banshee escaped. Though she tries killing Superman the Banshee finds her powers don’t affect him much due to his alien nature and she ends up captured by the Jailer. Bevan pleads for her to be released but the Jailer leaves. Hearing out Bevan, Clark and Lois realise they will have to steal the book to free Siobhan. Superman uses his super hearing to hear out the Banshee’s screams and finds her near the Metropolis construction estate. Lois and Jimmy get in the museum and steal the book then go after Superman who battles Jailer and Banshee. The Banshee yells that Superman does not belong here and demands he leave Earth, Superman gets annoyed but tells her he is not leaving while a young woman is desperately in need of help. Superman battled her well enough until Lois and Jimmy got the book and commanded the Banshee to leave Siobhan. With her restored, Siobhan requested Superman let her and Bevan take it back to their home so if something like this happened again they don’t need to fly over the Atlantic to resolve it. Lois and Jimmy sheepishly admit they stole the book so if they want to keep it they better go now. However, the former curator of the museum, Ferlin Nyxly, had a backup of the book saved on his phone to give Bruno Manheim his own control of the Banshee, making her a recurring enemy of Superman until Bruno is defeated. The Banshee is bound to a robotic body to follow Bruno’s control until Superman destroys the body and the spell to banish her is done.

Leslie is no longer a mercenary. She is still a radio DJ who gets annoyed at how the focus has been drawn to Superman just as she was becoming the big thing in Metropolis. Lois was already critical of her thanks to how she mysteriously had bought her own studio when she’s meant to be an everyday woman, finding out that Leslie had in fact criminal links to her cousin Les. Leslie gets nervous of being exposed and calls Les for help so Les ends up trying to kill Lois which backfires massively because not only did Lois save a recording of her conversation with Leslie but in the fight with Superman Les ended up zapping Leslie with her electric gauntlet which caused Leslie’s skin to turn a ghostly white and her hair blue. Les was arrested while Leslie was taken to hospital but was snuck out by Bloodsport who offered Leslie the chance to get revenge on Superman and Les. Leslie agreed and ended up being manipulated to not only fight Superman but Bruno as well for having stolen tech from Sam. Leslie would end up fighting Les here and there and almost beat her to death until Superman stopped her, Leslie screamed at Superman for ruining her life as she broke apart in tears. Superman could only apologise to her though he reminded her that hurting other people was not the way. Disillusioned, Leslie gave up and allowed herself to be taken in with Superman hoping to find a way to cure her. Les hopes to pay back Leslie. Les is the MAWS version of Livewire with the technological gain, you get to have her here but still do the og Livewire.

Volcana

Instead of Heat Wave (who’s a Flash villain), we have Volcana, aka Claire Selton in the role because she’s actually a Superman villain. Here, Claire is similar to her original counterpart, a pyrokinetic who was taken in by the government to be experimented on. Claire was taken in by Sarge Steel and Elias Orr in their efforts to counter the Kryptonians, leaving the poor woman isolated and emotionally and mentally behind. Sam was unaware of this and upon finding out about her he demanded she be released but Sarge and Elias made him back up both by mentioning Lois and Lucy and that Claire couldn’t be left alone outside. Superman freed Claire and made sure to get her set up somewhere she’d be okay and he’d try to help her live with her condition. Claire however was easily manipulated by Bruno Manheim in helping him take over the city with him preying on her fears that Superman was afraid of her. Claire did fight Superman but he instead approached her with compassion and told her he was not scared of her. Claire cried and hugged him. Superman would help invent a pair of bracelets that would help her control her powers and Claire has since been getting better at living life.

Zod

Yeah, that Brainiac is gone. I wanted the proper Brainiac, not a robot. If they really wanted to have the “Kryptonian Empire” be in here then go and do Zod. His role here is similar to Brainiac’s, his robot scouts found Earth and Faora and Nemesis Omega battled Sam and the army until Sam shot the Phantom Projector which sucked Faora in, with a robot captured Sam and his team found out bits here and there of Krypton, Zod’s account of it. Zod was all for continuing the empire, feeling that the planets that were not part of the empire were all going to try and ruin Krypton and those that stood in their way would kneel to him, to Krypton and if they fought they’d die. However, Kryptonians were getting weary of their empire, believing that they had robbed the planets of their freedom and decided that the empire had to come to an end. Jor-El, Lara, Zor-El and Allura with other Kryptonians in the elite houses were calling in the leaders of the planets to let them live their own lives. Zod was livid as he believed the planets would unite to destroy Krypton and that they were the far more superior species. This started a civil war on Krypton which ended with Zod’s defeat and sent to the Phantom Zone. For a while Krypton was at peace, Kara was born, the planets were given their freedom and Jor-El and Lara were ready to have a baby. However, Zod’s followers had influenced a younger generation of Kryptonians to rebel and Krypton ended up in another civil war. With the planet suffering, Jor-El and Zor-El sent their children away in space as Krypton was destroyed. Zod was released from the Phantom Zone and reunited with his family and followers. They found Kara’s ship was floating in space after Krypton’s destruction caused her ship to lose power. Zod rescued Kara and manipulated her into thinking the planets formerly controlled by the empire destroyed Krypton. Kara was doubtful so Zod brainwashed her and sent her out with his followers to “help” those planets with Kara tricked into thinking she was bringing Hope back when she was killing people. Faora, rescued from the Phantom Zone, tapped into the robot that was caught by Sam, letting them see humanity and saw Superman. They caught Equss after Superman punched him into space and tortured him into revealing what he was made for; Zod was curious as to why Superman was helping the humans after they tried killing Faora, and were trying to kill him. Kara offered to go Earth to find out more of the planet and meet Superman. Bringing him back to Zod, Superman was stunned to meet more of his kind. Zod saw much of Jor-El in Superman, trying to shatter his mind in accepting that he should embrace Krypton. However, Kara began having her doubts and found out she was being brainwashed. With help from Lois, Jimmy, the Superwoman costume, Kara freed Superman and they battled Zod and tore apart his ship and used the Phantom Projector to trap Zod and his followers in there. Superman does ask Zod if he loved Krypton so much then why didn’t he choose to listen to his people, why fight them when they could have peace. Zod answers that power is something you cannot ever lose and he was not going to let anybody, Kryptonian or alien, make him lose that which he felt made him Krypton’s saviour and in turn the heroes of the universe. Superman said Zod is everything he feared he was but he knows now not everybody from Krypton was like Zod, they wanted peace and that’s the ideals Superman would rather be with.

Regarding Nemesis Omega, Faora can’t tell what really happened to him, she doesn’t know if he died or he was lost in the Phantom Zone. As of now we ourselves don’t know that much of Nemesis Omega but his DNA was used to create Bizarro so it’s possible Nemesis Omega is an evil alternate Superman. Well, I’m not having that so until it’s proven otherwise Nemesis Omega is just another follower of Zod.

Hellgrammite

Dr Ivo as Parasite just. Wasn’t right. He created Amazo, why have him be Parasite? There’s a character who easily takes his place and that is Roderick Rose, the Hellgrammite. He’s the right guy, somebody who obsessively wants to be better and will stop at nothing to get what he wants, mutates himself into a monster and starts doing the most horrific of crimes. Roderick takes Ivo’s place by holding a gala and shows off his mutation to be the “evolution” of humanity and cocoons up a lot of the guests whom he felt had been plotting to stab him in the back. While he does get defeated he is taken in by Sarge Steel who has him help in cocooning up a few subjects who try to resist and gives him the power to enhance his strength, beating Superman upon capturing him until Superman escapes and stops him from cocooning Metropolis. Roderick is imprisoned with efforts to undo his genetic mutations.

Bloodsport

Unlike the show, I’m going to have a proper Superman villain in Deathstroke’s role and that’s Bloodsport/Robert DuBois. Based more on the Idris Elba take, this Bloodsport used to work for the army and has multiple high tech weaponry on hand to battle his foes. Bloodsport here was there when Zero Day happened, with him, Sam, Sarge Steel, Elias Orr and Alex Trent had battled Nemesis Omega and Faora. The Phantom Projector was destroyed and the Kryptonians were defeated but left behind a robot. Believing that the Kryptonians would return, Robert followed on with his friends in forming a Anti-Kryptonian group to create technology to better themselves against the Kryptonians, with Robert getting to try out the new guns they formed from the remains of the tech. Though Robert is devoted to the cause, he does have his limits and among them was working with Alex Trent whose racism was becoming more and more obvious. After a scrap, Alex was sacked and Sarge Steel saw to it himself to kill Alex to stop him from telling anybody of what they were doing. While he did shoot him, Sarge failed to kill him as Alex was found by Bruno and taken in by him, which only brought him and Robert face to face once Superman emerged. Robert would become a great shooter and a fine combatant with the tech he got and proved he was a force to be reckoned with not just with Bruno’s henchmen but with Superman, his guns and armour being a great challenge for him. Robert would be sent out to find and retrieve the stolen tech and to get more on Superman. Robert ended up injuring Superman with a Kryptonite bullet and caught him for Sam to interrogate, but after Superman showed he had no idea about Zero Day, combined with the treatment of Volcana, Robert and Sam became weary of what they were doing and after Superman saved them during his escape they felt they were wrong about him. Sarge however was determined to at least keep Bruno out of their work and so Sam, Robert, Livewire and John Corben were sent out to kill Bruno. Robert managed to kill Alex though was almost killed himself when Bruno altered his own body but Superman saving him, as well as comforting Leslie, had Robert really rethink what he was doing and chose to slip away, erasing all of his contacts and disappearing.

Metallo

The series instead had the Metallos be an army of robots Lex had made to fight Brainiac. Here I’m going with both of the comic Metallo’s, George Grant and John Corben.

George Grant here is John Henry Irons’ employer and was making a prototype mech suit with John to better help the construction business but it turns out George was secretly making the suit for the purpose of selling it and others to the government, knowing well he’d get lots of money out of it and would’ve covered his tracks from being sued. John found out about this and was angry that George was turning his back on people who needed them and was robbing their investors. John contacted Maggie and Lois, so Maggie distracted George while Lois and Clark were led by John to be shown the proof of what George was doing. They got the evidence but George realised he was being tricked and tried to kill them but Clark battled him as Superman. The mech suit proved to be very strong but Superman defeated George who was arrested and was left by the government who refused to help him out of this. George would spend his days in prison and would be envious of John who continued their original vision and even got to form his own mech suit to help Superman.

John Corben is a soldier who was there on Zero Day and with Faora and Nemesis Omega defeated John was all in on the anti-Kryptonian group Sam and Sarge made. John was a ruthless man who loved to womanise and went to the gym to bulk himself up, often bragging he was the strongest guy in the group and would love to kill some aliens. He was eager to fight Superman but had to be reminded that they needed to watch him before they could even fight. In their fights with Intergang John would equip himself with metal gauntlets which he rather disturbingly loved to pummel his enemies with. He was a creep with Livewire. John also took pleasure in torturing Superman. John’s big turning point came when after Superman escaped and Bruno had stolen more tech he and his team were sent to kill Bruno. In the fight John was badly injured by the Banshee and was almost crushed to death under the rubble, losing his legs and his arm and a chunk of his head. Saved by Lex Luthor, John was given the chance to be the “the new man” of humanity by getting cybernetics and a Kryptonite rock to make him immortal. John, wanting revenge, agreed and not only did he become Metallo he was also the prototype for Hank Henshaw. Metallo was Luthor’s right hand man in guarding his work and had multiple copies of his body made for Sarge Steel and Elias Orr. Metallo would fight Superman and proved Luthor’s theory that Kryptonite can weaken him and he was called back. John believed Sam had abandoned him and so he tried to get revenge on him by kidnapping Lois and Lucy, which was not a smart idea as Superman, Sam and Irons rescued them and left Metallo humiliated. Lex reprimanded Metallo and once Zod and his followers came Metallo and his copies were sent out to fight them, with Metallo managing to kill a few Kryptonians until he was ripped apart by Faora.

Toyman

He’s no longer a former soldier, he’s a ambitious toy creator who wants to not only bring classical toys back but also give them a advanced edge in technology, like making little muscular figures strong enough to lift an object heavier than them were a child trapped under rubble or a fallen item. Winslow was also envious of the rise in figurines and anime toys, thinking they had been “corrupting” children and figurines were just lifeless statues. He came to greatly despise Hiro Okamura who was his rival in Metropolis. He also wants to make “Buddy Toys”, child sized robotic toys that act as protector and friend to the child. He did create a Superman “Buddy Toy” who basically got too protective of a kid and hurt his bullies badly, forcing the real Superman to get involved and broke the toy to save the lives of the kids. Winslow was furious Superman would destroy such a thing to celebrate a hero but Superman pointed out that the toy was hurting others and with the fact the toy also was recording the children which was not included in the description of the toy he was far from happy with him. Maggie feels that this is enough to get Winslow’s toy shop closed and must hand over everything to welfare and law agents, but Winslow was stubborn and refused to let them take his works. He tried to frame Hiro, saying he must’ve snuck in the recording pieces for the toys. Superman looked and saw there was nothing there. Luthor would then smugly say that Winslow was an ex-employee of his and stole his own tech to make his toys for his bizarre wonderland. With the shop closing, and Luthor exposing him, Winslow snuck out his best toys then abducted Cat Grant and Lucy Lane, using their appearances to make his perfect wife. Lois and Superman saved them but Winslow began a toy takeover of Metropolis, wanting to kill those who he felt wronged him, including Hiro and Lex. Superman and Kara overcame the toys and defeated Winslow, who was arrested while Hiro became the new Toyman, more heroic and making his toys fun.

Winslow did work for Luthor and was bored with the lifeless, grey drab of modern technology and the belief children were shut in now and he believed that more toys and more colourful sets were what he needed to make him happy. He created his first toy wife but Lex was not happy he was using his technology for his own means and sacked him.

Freddy: I’d say that just about covers the villains whom you wanted to rewrite.

Teddy: What about over villains you wanted to include?

This is where it gets really fun. Superman has such a huge bunch of villains that even the obscure ones are honestly deserving of more love. Thus here we are.

New Baddies

We start with Equss.

For those who don’t know, Equss was in the comics and is a mysterious soldier who went through experiments to become a cybernetic monster with big claws, often with Elias Orr. In this version he’s mostly the same, a soldier who became a war criminal and was to be executed for his crimes, but he was spared by Elias Orr and Sarge Steel who offered to make him a hero everybody would love by killing the real enemy, the Kryptonians. The soldier agreed and underwent experiments, his body being grafted with Kryptonian technology that they took from Zero Day. Equss would be brought out in the compound to battle other inmates whom were either caught or joined Sarge and Elias’s efforts, proving repeatedly he was truly a force. He almost killed Volcana but Sam stepped in and was mortified by what Elias and Sarge were doing. Same researched on the soldier and angrily ordered for him to be killed. With Superman saving the inmates and Sam and Lois plotting to expose them, Elias and Sarge Steel programmed Equss to find and kill them. Equss had super vision and not only could he see where Lois and Sam were going, he could see Superman going to Smallville. Thinking he could kill them all, Equess went to Smallville and battled Superman, their fight brutal as they tore through the barn and the field. Sam told Superman to kill him but killing isn’t what he wants so Sam tells him to punch him into space, it won’t kill him but it will freeze him. Superman punches Equss so hard he’s sent flying to the other side of the galaxy. Equss was found by Zod who tortured him into revealing more of Earth and after that was done he tore out Equss’s cybernetics, killing him.

Elias Orr

A former soldier turned special operative, Elias was there on Zero Day and served as Sam’s second in command of the group. With Faora defeated, they started to get a Anti-Kryptonian league going with Elias and Sarge Steel doing more of the shadier work, believing that those who fought with dirty hands were going to be needed to fight the Kryptonians, hence Elias found the soldier whom he would genetically and cybernetic change him into Equss. Elias is driven by a sole desire to get the best results and he doesn’t care if it means sacrificing a few “low lives” to get it. Unlike Sarge Steel who was more than happy to manipulate metahumans into working for them, Elias was driven largely by altering the human body to be stronger, hence he was happy to have Roderick Rose work for him in genetically changing other subjects who were there. Elias was determined to win no matter what and would try to kill Sam for quitting on them and sent Equss out to kill him. With Equss defeated Elias went into hiding with Sarge and whoever they had left, backed by the government who sent them to Lex Luthor who had restored John Corben. They tried finding the Fortress of Solitude but were stopped by the weather and Superman. Elias and Sarge started to manipulate Hank Henshaw into helping them and Lex in constructing a laser canon that could kill Kryptonians. Sarge and Elias were killed by Zod as he tried to capture Earth, with Zod taking much pleasure in killing Elias for creating Equss.

Bruno Manheim

Since Intergang is in MAWS, but it’s a very low level version of it with no Bruno leading them, I’m bringing back into the role. Bruno is determined to be the top crime boss and show the elites of Metropolis that he is a force they should listen to. Bruno finds out from Alex Trent about the technology Sam Lane and Sarge Steel have been making after Zero Day so he sends his own henchmen to steal the tech. Bruno’s henchmen include Alex, Ferlin, the Archer, Les, and the man who becomes Blackrock, all of them gaining tech and weapons that grants them strength to take on Superman. Ferlin even got Bruno the chance to control he Banshee by connecting her to a robotic body/ Bruno in his spare time runs a casino in Metropolis and it’s there he often keeps an eye on the elite and will blackmail them into giving him what he wants. Bruno’s meddling with Sam however only brings about more trouble as not only is Superman trying to stop him and find out how he’s getting the tech, but Sam is taking the fight to him with Bloodsport not only being sent to kill Bruno but also has a vendetta against Alex for his racism, while Livewire and John Corben would also be a persistent pain for Bruno. Sam felt the entire operation of killing Superman was all for nothing and wanted to stop it but Sarge told him to get rid of Bruno. Sam led Livewire, Bloodsport and Corben in a full on fight at Bruno’s mansion where Bruno used the tech to make himself bigger and crippled John. Superman came and defeated Bruno who was driven insane by the tech, thrown in a mental hospital until he was sane enough to stand trial.

Mr. Z

He takes up Mr Myxzlpkt’s role in the series, but no multiverse. Mr Z is a really obscure Superman villain, resembling a 19th century gent with a jewel cane to capture people for his own amusement. In this he’s mostly the same albeit he’s a time traveller who became bored with the paradise Superman and his friends created and had a thirst for violence, hence he travelled back in time and abducted well known heroes from the past like Jonah Hex and Alan Scott and pitted them in arenas where they battled constructs of their greatest foes. His powers include a time band which allows him to slow time around him, can cast a shrink beam from his cane which also draws his enemies in and has gauntlets that help him match the strength of his enemies. He found Superman and had him pitted against his greatest of enemies who were revived as constructs, including Darkseid and Mongul. Though Superman won he was to go up against Jonah and Alan but he refused which earned him a beam of Kryptonite. Jonah and Alan refused to fight each other so they were all made to gift a monstrous combo of their biggest enemies, but they overcame it and together they defeated Mr Z and sent him back to his time where he was arrested. Jonah and Alan are returned to their times with both relieved to see good men like Superman exist in the future.

Effron the Sorcerer

A really old Superman villain who commanded an army of faceless puppets, here Effron is still a sorcerer but has a more creepier look to him and instead of puppets, he takes away a person’s face and leaves their body under his control. Effron wanted to amuse himself and to see if Superman was as benevolent to humanity as he said, hence he came to Metropolis and took away the faces of many people in the city, leaving him, Kara, Irons, Maggie. Lois and Jimmy in a tough battle with Effron now controlling the city and even released Livewire, Hellgrammite, and even George Grant to fight them. Superman and Kara managed to lock up most of the people in the buildings and tried to fight Effron but he was a strong sorcerer who handled their strength with ease. However, Kara realised with their powers they could manipulate the elements to trick Effron, so she and Clark used their super powers to create mist to disorientate him enough to have them punch him about. Effron, fearing that they’ll kill him, reverses the spell though he’s still arrested and is taken to prison where he’s kept away Ron the cape that helped him with his powers.

Ferlin Nyxly

Former curator of the Metropolis museum, he was exposed by Jimmy for replacing artefacts with fakes to sell them on the black market. Superman uncovered a lot of the artefacts and Ferlin was arrested though the cops who arrested him were knocked out by Les and Alex, with Bruno wanting him to help him figure out who were the richest of the elite and what mystical artefacts there were he could have to help him fight the elite. Ferlin helped him bound the Banshee to a robotic body and used a few magic spells to fight Superman and Sam but was ultimately arrested.

Black Zero

A criminal who steals riches from dead planets, he stole many from Krypton’s remains. He will sometimes try and destroy planets to get some more riches out of them, walking among humans and tempting them with riches to get them on his side and give him knowledge of the world’s precious riches. The Black Zero here has powers similar to Kryptonians but he can instead shoot out a black laser beam from his chest which depletes his enemies of their strength and creates pulse beams that can pressure Superman and Supergirl. The Black Zero stolen the Bottled City of Kandor after he found it shrunken and floating in space. Superman and Supergirl battled him to take it back and won, sending him to the Phantom Zone.

Time Trapper

The mysterious being who lives at the end of all of time, he is constantly changing thanks to events in the past altering his future in which he’s victorious. Until Nemesis Omega is revealed I’m thinking of having him be the Time Trapper. He’s the final villain of my take on the series, using his time powers to go back in time and snatch up Superman, Lois, Jimmy, Kara, Irons, Jon, and many other heroes and villains for a final battle, hoping to kill Superman here and Jon and then the universe will reset to how he wants it. The Time Trapper reveals he has been constantly trying to find ways of killing Superman, having worn many faces in his life. Here he’s revealed to be Nemesis Omega, the Kryptonian who with Faora tried to take Earth, the Phantom Projector’s destruction saw him sent to the end of time itself where he was the Time Trapper’s newest host. Nemesis Omega can’t remember his own name but he does know he wanted to preserve Krypton’s empire and serve it to every letter and word that Zod set out. Zod is freed by then and Zod refuses to follow another who is more stronger and tries killing the Time Trapper but is killed. Taking Zod’s life cracks the sanity of the Time Trapper who is torn between the fact he just killed Zod while wanting to create his own timeline. In the end the Time Trapper is punched so hard that his life resets once again and his realm falls, with everybody sent back to their own times.
