My Year In Media 2022

I didn't play Cyberpunk 2077 and likely won't any time soon but yeah, the anime was pretty good. Sonic movie 2 as well and I'm looking forward to the third.

Trust me, I'm one of those people who hated Avatar and I still think it's a gigantic waste of budget and creativity. Way of Water I thought was more entertaining but that really doesn't say much. Visuals are amazing but I still never will be a fan of designs of the Na'Vis.

Out of the movies, favorites that came out this year were definitely Batman, Sonic 2, and Pinocchio (Del Toro's version, of course)

I'm playing Sonic Frontiers right now and I gotta say I enjoy it for the most part. Though I am still paranoid about the franchise itself and my favorite things about it especially (still heavily affected by how all of my favorite things about it were destroyed in 2010s and had terrible experiences with the fandom (the supposed ''good side'' of it)). Frontiers is overall from my perspective an excellent blueprint for future games, and I've also seen what we so far have of Sonic Prime and it's just mid.

Agreed. Plus this game was like Sonic unleashed of 2022.

I can see that how better it turned out to be than say...Super Mario movie..

Well, technically yeah, most of these were enjoyable even though past several years really sucked, 2022 as well even if it was slightly better than absolute nightmare that was 2021
